Language fails

If language fails so much then why are there so many languages. Do you think that all the languages were attempts to solve the issue to communicate or were they all just failures that no one wanted to improve or change.

My thoughts on this are that all the languages were attempts to make the transfer of ideas and thoughts easier but also to attempt make it less complex in comparison to the rest of the languages.

  1. People need to communicate to survive, so they make it happen despite its failures.

  2. yeah but then why isn't there just one language because wouldn't it be easier to survive? That is mainly what your comment is drawing to then.

  3. Each culture adapted universal language (body language) into words that sounded effective in communicating a particular idea. Then, patterns arose, and new words and phrases were able to be formed. I don't know why every language sounds the way it does, but they each were formed with a particular focus in mind.
