Is it possible to be perfect?

  1. Everyone's perception of perfect differs though, doesn't it? So it really could be, couldn't it?

  2. I agree with Karli. It may be possible to be perfect in your own eyes. But how is perfect defined? How were these "perfect" people influenced by others? So my question is, Who defines perfect the individual or the public?

  3. Perfection is based on perception like the others have said, but it depends on whose perception you are talking about. You could be perfect in someone's eyes but not in another's. I believe that there are varying levels of perfection. Depending on which level determines the chance of achieving such a misunderstood topic. For example absolute perfection would be extremely difficult, for every aspect the thing being judged would have to be perfect. Maybe you got 100% on a test, that would be considered a perfect score, but if there was extra credit that you got and say it brought your score up to 110% then a new level of perfection would be introduced. And, say you got a perfect score one could then judge the aesthetics of the content that got you that score and then one could argue whether or not the aesthetics were perfect. Perfection is a very complex so it is hard to say exactly what constitutes true perfection.
